About Panyijiar County:

About The Lost Boys of Sudan: The Lost Boys are survivors of the Sudanese Civil War (1984-2005). Seeking escape from a murderous government, thousands of boys made the perilous journey to relief camps in Ethiopia and Kenya, battling disease and starvation en route. Some of the survivors now live in the U.S., and are looking for ways to help their native country. The PACODES Library Project will open doors to education, foster community growth, and reduce the debilitating effects of poverty and violentce in southern Sudan.
